When you choose print or radio advertising, you may have some idea of how many people will see/hear your ad based on the amount of homes to which it gets delivered, or the average monthly listeners of the radio station. This allows you to reach out to these account holders personally, or send them promotional material on a regular basis. The guy who saw the ad in July and thought it would make a great Christmas present is far more likely to call you in November if your ads are popping up as a handy reminder. In addition, those who liked your ad likely have followers with similar interests, so advertising to the core list will continue to leak far and wide while you are busy getting shipments prepared.
